Haymaker in Verrado has quickly become our absolute favorite local spot! My family has actually visited three times in just the past week, and we have been blown away every single time.
The menu variety is impressive—they truly do everything well. Whether you are looking for a hearty breakfast, a juicy burger, or one of their incredible BBQ platters, you can’t go wrong. Every single item we’ve tried so far has been outstanding and cooked to perfection.
To top it off, the beers are always ice cold with a fantastic selection on tap to choose from.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere created by the staff. The team members are incredibly attentive, friendly, and just plain fun to deal with. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door.
If you’re in Verrado, do yourself a favor and stop by Haymaker. We clearly can’t get enough of it!

We went when they first opened and gave it a bad review but decided to try it again. We were glad we did. This time it was very good. We tried waffles, French toast, hash browns and bacon. Food was great! Service even better. Ashley was juggling tables but did a great job taking our order promptly and always checking on us. Coffee was excellent! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars instead of 4 was the food wasn't piping hot. Now to try lunch another day!

Fabulous way to start my day. The staff were amazing, adorn with smiles and great hospitality. I tried the croissant which included ham, eggs, cheese, spinach, and tomatoes with a side of hash Browns. I must say my eyes was bigger than my stomach. Because I thought that I could easily tackle that croissant. I got halfway through and had to give up. It was very hearty and delicious. The local orange juice was a hit too!

Disappointing First Impression
When we walked in, there was zero greeting or acknowledgment — not even a simple “Hi, we’ll be right with you.” We stood there waiting while other guests who came in after us were seated first. We even let them know we’d been waiting and were trying to get someone’s attention, but it didn’t seem to matter.
It wasn’t busy at all, so there really wasn’t an excuse for the lack of basic hospitality. The food might be great but the service right from the start left a bad taste.

They have been going down hill. Under cooked pancakes and under cooked waffles. Soggy hashbrowns. Something with the butter didn't look right. Their staff are attentive so that's nice.
