It is what you expect of a local place, but the prices are higher than a proper full service restaurant. The burger was greasy, flavorful and what I wanted, but the fries were crystal caverns level of drowned in salt. The al pastor burrito followed the philosophy of replacing salt for flavor. I would prefer some char over extra salt. Still a bullhead institution, but they can do better.
I was expecting worse from the reviews but I was surprised, my shrimp burrito was loaded with shrimp and quite tasty with the green salsa. The torta was a little soggy on the bottom but the al pastor was good, was a good filling size . Those two items came to $27 together.
The food was good. It wasn’t crowded on the inside. The workers were very polite. My only complaint was the price. I wanted a grilled cheese combo and it was $17, pretty steep. I’m thinking it was going to be sizeable, but no it was normal. Overall great place to dine
