Shopped at the store and had dinner at the restaurant. Both were a great experience, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was great! Highly recommend.
Stay here instead of at the South Rim (of the Grand Canyon)! Do not pay the excessive prices demanded by the hotels inside the national park.
Affordable restaurant with good food, large portions & gluten free items. Wait staff apparently all Native American Indian & delightful.
Clean rooms. Delightfully appointed with Navajo design. Get the third level room for no one above you.

I stop in the gift shop every so often and I recently had a very nice lunch in the restaurant. The staff were cordial and professional. Clean restrooms. A well-preserved historic site.

The establishment features a wide selection of Navajo-made items in the gift shop and boasts a scenic view of the nearby river. The gift shop is huge with a wide variety of high-quality handicrafts made by native Americans. Prices are reasonable, and there is a good selection of unique and fine-quality items on display. The dining area has a roaring fire and plenty of seating, with something on the menu for everyone. The famous Navajo taco and prickly pear milkshake are must-try items, and the Indian tacos are massive and flavorful. Guests can also take home the delicious fry bread. Overall, the Cameron Trading Post is a pleasure to visit, with its scenic views, comfortable accommodations, and excellent food and shopping options.
