Black Mountain Coffee Shop & Cafe

Our server Glen was very good . This was our second time there and our first time was amazing , so we recommended it to our family. I don’t know what happened but most all of our food was not good. Ordered medium burgers but came well done and flavorless. Poached eggs were like moon rocks, no yoke , and I could go on but no need to. On a positive note my husbands breakfast was delicious, Thought we found a new go to spot, so sorry it was disappointing .

I love this place!! Took my boyfriend there, and we both thoroughly enjoyed everything! The food is amazing. The staff very friendly! Just a really great place! Can't wait to go back!!

BMC is a great place, tonight is Karaoke Tuesday. CHEF Jeff is on point again tonight, the Brussel sprouts appetizer was excellent. My darling gf pan seared cod was light, flaky, and she said it was the best she's tasted. My steak was cooked perfectly and the veggies were great.

There are so many great restaurants in Black Mountain but we can’t resist their Mahi Reuben, sweet potato fries and oh my - their pie!!!!

It was dissapointing. The waitress was very friendly and nice. That's all I can say. We placed our order at 12:15. There were 6 of us. The first food arrived at 1:10. It took 5 to ten minutes for 2 more meals to arrive. Then another 5 to ten for the last meal to arrive. The kids grilled cheese was only a small half of sandwich! Who gets a half grilled cheese! My black and blue burger was dry and not very good. Didn't come with the lettuce and tomato. The adult half sandwich and chilli was like a starter. The same half grilled cheese the size of the child's sandwich. Looked like cheap wonder bread. Very small cup of chilli. Overall the food was very mediocre and the time we waited was appalling. So dissapointed.

Fun local place to eat plus good food. Everyone there is very nice and they have live music on some afternoons. Nacho's are very good so give those a try. Been here a few times and it is consistently good. Owner is local so you are giving back to local community which is a plus as well!

Went with my family. Half our food showed up fast and it was really good, the other bit was just a turkey club, a cup of chili and a half grilled cheese sandwich that took 45 minutes and was not great. The bill was around $90 for 4 people w/o any alcohol.

This was a really cute brunch spot! My boyfriend & I were seated with Laura and she was very sweet. Food was your typical breakfast, but still good. Love that they have patio seating in the shade & sun.

This is one of those places that I do not enjoy going to. The food has never been high quality here, and I’ve been here a few times. I’m a huge fan of breakfast/diner places but this place is not it. It also didn’t go well with my stomach, and I’m not a fan of the atmosphere. I would not intentionally return.
