Cute place with great coffee! The hosts are super friendly and this is always a great stop to recharge.

Some of my favorite coffee, and definitely my favorite café in Cave Creek/Carefree. Maybe it is a bit expensive for certain food items, but it is good

I just had lunch here and it was very good! The PIE.......delicious.

Good cup of coffee, friendly service but they were distracted with back of house activities. Nothing exciting for atmosphere. If weather is good much more seating outside though most of it is picnic tables and small 2 tops around building by parking lot.

My daughter said this was the best Matcha she ever had!

No greeting, no acknowledgment at all. I walked in and walked around. I picked up the bag of coffee that I wanted to purchase and then went and waited patiently at the register for someone to finally realize I was there. I understand it was a little bit busy when I was there however, I would not call this a welcoming first time experience. The coffee is also extremely expensive. One bag cost me 21!

So, now Swiss coffee testers have also opened up here ;-)
What can you say, very good cappuccino and the croissant (Gipfeli in CH German) is also very good.
The location is very cozy, there's something about sitting outside here in December in a T-shirt, drinking coffee and not feeling cold like in Switzerland.

The staff is also super friendly, the owner Lars is very nice.

I recently visited Carefree Coffee in Cave Creek, AZ and had a mixed yet enjoyable experience. The highlight of my meal was the breakfast burrito, which was absolutely delicious. It was packed with fresh ingredients and had a perfect balance of flavors that left me wanting more.

However, the coffee didn't quite hit the mark for me. I found it to be a bit on the weak side, albeit flavorful, but lacking the boldness I usually prefer.

Overall, the quality of the food was excellent, and the ambiance was charming, making it a nice spot to relax. That said, I did find the cost of 2 coffees & two burritos to be on the over-priced side of my wallet, which might give some pause. If you're in the area, I would still recommend trying the breakfast burrito, but you might want to consider your coffee options elsewhere.
