Food was good. Service & atmosphere terrible. And prices were exorbitant. Not worth it.

Awful. Avoid at all costs. The server was trying but there was not enough help. The bill was $600. Over priced, terrible food,”. They didn’t have the liquor for the drinks we wanted. They didn’t have the wine we wanted The atmosphere is like a cafeteria. I went into the wine cellar to find wine because they couldn’t do it. Really, really , really BAD.

While staying at The Boulders we tried Palo Verde twice once for dinner and once for breakfast. My breakfast experience was ok. My latte and meal were good. The server was attentive and friendly. Dinner on the other hand was entirely different experience. Our food took forever to get, and they were not busy. The waiters seemed confused about were people's food went once it came out. We saw a family of five be seated, the father got up to get their own menus after a while. They eventually walked out. It was to cold to sit outside for us, but they say the views are nice on the patio. When we return the Boulders we may eat breakfast at Palo Verde but will skip dinner there.

We came on a holiday so the menu is prefix. The food was good. Not great. I would recommend coming when it's not a holiday. Service was outstanding. Ambience great. Wonderful views. Would recommend just not on a holiday.

The best part about this place is the view. Its a nice restaurant with friendly staff and seating, indoors and out. Sitting outside, overlooking the course, the pond and the landscaping is beautiful.

The food on the other hand. We only experienced breakfast but what we had was mediocre at best. The food quite honestly reminds me of a café that microwaves prepackaged items. For the price, I felt no pride or love coming out of this kitchen. This place definitely needs to elevate the food experience or bring down the prices of what they serve.

I feel bad complaining about a meal at Thanksgiving as staff was very busy and the head waiter discounted our meal and gave us a bottle of wine; however, the food was fair at best. Gave our daughter salmon instead of trout but insisted it was trout. Dessert was a weird combo of apple cheesecake but had chocolate shavings on top. It was pretty but not good. No coffee, no salt and pepper on tables, couldn't ask for more gravy. Turkey dinner was sliced turkey breast, no mashed potatoes or stuffing. Just some broccoli and steamed sweet yams. The corn bisque was delicious and rolls were good. Salads were not as described. Would not go back for a holiday but have heard food is good overall. Outdoor was much nicer than inside.

We had a wonderful experience. Cody, our waiter was very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. The atmosphere was incredible as well.

The hostess treated us like we just shot her cat! She clearly hates her job. Our server was delightful. They were out of butter. For a breakfast menu that serves toast, pancakes, French toast, waffles... Absolutely not a single pat of butter in the house. While there were many Boulders employees running around and two grocery stores nearby. They said they had been out of butter for some time. Unbelievable.

I am vegan and there was nothing for me to eat except salad. This seems not appropriate for the times. The server did not offer to speak with the chef, which has always been my experience at other high end restaurants. Ambience was beautiful and service was good generally.

5 stars: I ordered a braised beef on mole sauce and it was amazing. Also our waiter Michael was for sure a hospitality pro. I will definitely come back any time I come back to Phoenix.

Ismir was amazing! He gave us the right amount of attention without becoming intrusive. He accommodated all of our requests and gave full descriptions of the dishes we had questions about. The food was of excellent quality and was well prepared.
