Not sure what happened. This was my first visit and had high expectations. Only one other pair in the place when we arrived around 4:30 for Happy Hour. No atmosphere, no music. We were immediately told there was no food as the cook was gone. Consequently, hard to rate the food. We were told that they were not sure when he'd be back. Bartender seemed put out by having to serve us and after serving us our drink, he disappeared. About 30 minutes later the one other customer went looking for him. She found the cook and finally he found the bartender. We cashed out. Wont be back

According to Google, it informs customers you were open for business. I called the Tox Bar main number twice, and nobody bothered to answer. Made a drive to the restaurant, and it was closed, totally dead. At least have the courtesy to update your automated message to properly inform your customers about your daily hours. Very very poor.

We had the best experience the service was professional and personal. The cocktails were simply divine. The food was like no other Italian restaurant in North Phoenix that I’ve ever been to. I will be bringing back my fellow companions.

First time diners for lunch. Only one other party there. The decor and bar area was lovely. Had to get the server's attention we were ready to order. The Bruschetta was okay but surprised it was served on what seemed like regular bread, not toasted baguette or flatbread. The lettuce in the Strawberry Feta Salad was beyond its best date. Might give it another try but disappointed it didn't turn out to be a great experience because it's close to home. Needs improvement for sure.

Yea…NO. I got nothing from this place accept a really high bill! Mike at the bar was great, but not for $250. Had to order doubles as the bartender was pouring 1oz drinks. 2 apps and 6 kettles on the rocks, $250. I would never recommend this place.$26 for a double Ketel on the rock, that really wasn't a double. Now that's expensive.

We decided to give this restaurant a try based on a recommendation from a friend. The inside of the restaurant is odd - the dining room side looked like it was waiting for the band to arrive. Also, quite dark. It wasn't crowded at all but we waited an hour for our food. We cancelled the salad after waiting 45 minutes for it. Then we waited another 15 for the entrees which ended up being lackluster. Not sure why everything was so slow but it ruined the experience. The waitress was nice but I think she was not only waiting on tables but also was tending bar. We love to support new restaurants but will not return to Tox.
Great place for some live music some snacks and a drink. Lots of bar and table space.

Just discovered this jewel ! Stopped in for cocktails and lunch, each item was more delicious than the last.super fresh , we had gorgeous handmade meatballs, Cesar salad, very fresh jumbo shrimp cocktail, and a burratta dish. Truly you can taste the fresh herbs .the service was friendly and professional .and Make sure to try the “ pain killer”Blood orange spicy margarita ? can’t wait to go back !

Prompt and friendly service. Dined outside and they have a great patio that is quiet and comfortable. Told our server we were in a bit of a hurry and he took our order and had it out in 20 minutes. We shared a bruschetta board and it was delightful. We will be back without hesitation.
