Our first visit last night - take-out - meatball sandwiches, fries & onion rings - OMG!!!! Absolutely awesomely delicious!!
Amazing food and amazing atmosphere
If you are from the Chicago area or even if you are not, you must check this place out. Food is so delicious. We were a party of 7 and every dish was amazing. Friendly staff and the owners are awesome. Please check them out. You won't regret it.

Cactus Racks is a family-friendly spot serving up classic Chicago-style food and offering a welcoming, well-lit environment for pool players. The combo sandwich and hot dogs are called top-tier, with real Vienna dogs on poppy buns and a combo that doesn’t skimp. The Italian Beef is praised as the best in town, and the Chicago Dog, fries, and onion rings are also highlights. The Philly cheesesteak, Smashburger, and homemade desserts, especially the cheesecake, come highly recommended. The veggie tray stands out with fresh-cut sweet peppers, broccoli, and cucumbers, served with hummus and homemade ranch, showing care in every detail. The staff is described as super friendly, always smiling, and efficient, going out of their way to make guests feel welcome, though one visit noted inconsistent service. The owners are involved and genuinely enjoy the game, and the Diamond pool tables are among the nicest, with perfectly level surfaces, true rails, and regularly cleaned balls. The full bar and good beer selection add to the experience. Since a recent change in ownership, the difference is clear, and the place has become a gem for the neighborhood, offering good food, drink, and a safe space for families and regulars alike.
