He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and provides you with valuable techniques. He was well prepared and a gracious and kind host.The venue is unique and my family all agreed that this class was the highlight of our trip.

I spent a great day at Cave Creek BBQ School. It was a great learning experience featuring different types of techniques, meats, vegetables and even pizza. We fortunately got to eat all the delicious results which was a nice bonus. I would recommend the classes to everyone. I was able to ask a few questions I had before the class and they were answered patiently and completely. Definitely a great way to spend the afternoon.

Mick was amazing and shared so much info about making good BBQ and smoking meat. We made ribs, pulled pork, chicken and pizza. He's got every grill imaginable and has tons of knowledge. We are looking forward to an upcoming class on Mexican food.

One of my husbands Christmas gifts was an afternoon spent at Cave Creek BBQ School in Scottsdale. Today Pitmaster Mick held court in his outdoor BBQ kitchen. From slow smoked pork shoulder, to ribs, to chicken, to veggies and pizza, we got to enjoy hours of his expertise and enjoyed every tasty bite. Highly recommended.
