Being originally from New York and having NYC style pizza for many years, understand I am a big fan of NYC style pizza . I am also a bit of a pizza snob. Having frequented Ray's Famous Pizza in Cave Creek numerous times in the past year, I have to say they have the best NYC style pizza in the area. If you like NYC style, you won't go wrong here. Service is friendly and efficient as well. This is my go-to place for pizza now.
The guys at Ray's are super nice. Only one other couple eating here so service was fast and helpful. We ordered some cheese slices to go. They asked if we would mind a slight wait. They wanted to make up a new pie for us. Great! We had a seat and waited patiently. The boxed pie was ready to go quite quickly. One of the staff brought the box to our table and thanked us.
