Nothing says authentic like Fantasticos in Cave Creek AZ. You'd better brush up on your Spanish to place an order. I think that's what makes the food taste so good. It's all about heart and soul when they prepare food. Love the staff and nice old Town feeling. Carne Asada plate, not chopped, ask for whole piece, it's amazing and better flavor.
After hiking in cave creek this is an inexpensive, no frills place to get the best Pollo Fundido I've ever had. This is my favorite dish! We almost always order this dish at a nearby popular restaurant, one day we tried Fantastico on a whim. The other restaurant had a really long wait. Wow! Way cheaper and tastes more authentic. The restaurant itself is nothing special as far as appearance or ambiance, but clean. Staff is mostly Spanish speaking, but that makes it seem more authentic....read full review

Very good, fresh Mexican food. Family owned and run. Very small, simple, very casual, indoor/outdoor. Many local Hispanics are there each time I go for lunch. Easy, fast take out. Look at the website for the menu. We love their cheese quesadillas and fresh guacamole. Specials every day.
