The Horny Toad was very nice to eat at. I've been here a handful of times mostly when I was younger, but this time it was exceptional. Our waitress was a very kind lady who was very attentive and polite. She brought the delicious food out quickly, and helped with all our requests. The restaurant was quiet, probably because it was early lunch time. But it was nice, I would come back.
We ordered items for a football party and it was great! Pick up was easy and chicken was fresh and fantastic. Wished the side dishes that come with a whole chicken were a bit bigger but we will definitely order for future parties!!
We got takeout. The baked potatoes were perfect, which meant a bit hard, so we could heat them in the micro without overdoing them. (So many places have them soft and sitting for too long).The fried chicken and ribs were good, the coleslaw was outstanding, and the baked beans topped off what we ordered perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice even though they were packed inside.
