We got the seafood boil bag for two and it was spectacular. We loved it! I could have eaten the whole thing by myself though! Two lobster tails. Small amount of crab unfortunately. Shrimp was amazing. Potato sausage. Really delicious but also really pricey. It's just how seafood is these days. I would return. I prefer the atmosphere of the original place on Guadalupe and Alma School, but you can't always get what you want, right? They even gave us an extra sauce to take...
Had a great dinner at Angry Crab Shack tonight, and David took great care of us. Awesome flavors in the seafood boils with lots of options for seafood inside. Most are gluten free, but the rest of the menu is loaded with gluten. Wish they could remove gluten from the soups (which would be easy). The sauces can be water or butter/margarine blend as the base. I reduced one star since most items have seed oils. I really wish they used real butter instead. It would be so much better....
I’m not writing this review because they asked me to! (I don’t like writing reviews!) But this time I just wanted to give a shout-out to our server Brian at the Gilbert road location. He’s one of the most patient, helpful, kind and attentive servers I have ever seen, which made our dining experience so memorable! The food is great (and a little expensive). It’ll probably be my birthday treat from this year on! Thank you, Brian!
