Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican is a popular restaurant known for its fresh and flavorful Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, with various seating and drink options. The food is praised for its freshness and taste, especially the sweet pork and pork barbacoa.
Customers appreciate the friendly service, although there have been some concerns about attentiveness. Sometimes the staff seems busy with other tasks, which can lead to delays in getting help. The restaurant offers many options, including enchiladas, nachos, and a convenient mobile app for ordering.
While some customers have noted minor issues with portion sizes and the wrapping of the burritos, as well as the mildness of the habanero salsa, Cafe Rio remains a better choice than similar restaurants. The Chandler Mall location is well-managed and maintained, providing a generally great dining experience for customers. However, experiences may vary, as some have found their meals less satisfying in quantity, leading to some disappointment.
