Grew up in South Philly 2 blocks from Pats and Genos.. hands-down, best cheesesteak I found in AZ. If you’re from there you know pats and Genos sucks, this spot is more like Jim’s. Loaded with all the good stuff, super filling. My family will be coming back again and again. So happy we found this spot!

Forefathers Cheesesteaks is a clean place with friendly staff who offer great suggestions and impeccable service. The food is always consistently good, with fabulous cheesesteaks where you can actually taste the beef. The steak is flavorful, well cooked, and they do not skimp on the portions. The sandwiches are hot, tasty, with great bread. The fries are absolutely amazing, especially the sweet potato fries with their fry sauce as a side. The blue cheese sauce and jalapeño ranch are also recommended. The inside is clean, and there is a really nice patio. The staff is super friendly and always in a good mood, happily accommodating requests like well-done fries. Small size sandwiches are a perfect size, and the chicken is also flavorful. This is the best beef steak place in town, and a new favorite lunch spot.
