We have dined at this restaurant before. This food this time was poor. My wife had the Salmon BLT. When served they said burger. She asked and they quickly said no blt. But it wasn't. No bacon! Also they left the skin on the salmon. Our server brought her some bacon. I had the Ahi Tuna. It was cold. The rice it was served with was cold. I know seared rare it won't be hot but, it shouldn't be cold.
We are always looking for new seafood experiences, and this place did not disappoint. We tried 4 seafood appetizers, 3 cocktails, and 2 desserts. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked beautifully. The flavors were very well balanced and the dishes were seasoned perfectly. The drinks were dangerously good and the desserts hit all the right notes, we will definitely be returning soon!!
Wonderful lunch. Our server was present and very sweet! Food is always great. We love this neighborhood gem!
Lucky to have High Tide across the street from our house. Celebrated a friend's birthday. The waitress, Cody was delightful! Would come back again and ask for her again. The hostess' we very welcoming and helped make the evening very pleasant.
No one came to our table for over 20 minutes after being seated. So we left and let them know why.
We come here usually every other weekend, and I have to say it was a off night. My fish and chips were over cooked and dry. My husband had the restaurant week special manicotti. Very small portions. But it was good. The food took a long time to get and service seemed to be rushed.
This review is based off the Restaurant Week menu Fall 2025. We Love High Tide. We love the staff. We love the ambiance. We love the food. We went for the restaurant week menu. It was definitely not a good representation of what High Tide is all about. Service was Great. The Drinks were great. The food was off. Overcooked. Bland. If that was my first experience with the restaurant, it would have been my last. We will be back. I hope to see High Tide do better during the next Restaurant Week if they participate again.
Food is always excellent and great service. Oysters were fresh, crab cakes are the best, ciolpino was good and salmon special was tasty.
Waitress “Cassandra” left us alone a long time after we finished eating. Wasn't too happy with her. Very dark in the restaurant and we were kinda tight with 6 of us at a small table.
We love High Tide and have been to this Steel Yard location twice. Each time the food is deliciously prepared. However, this time, the value was seriously lacking. For a $36 salmon dish, I received a 4 oz cut of salmon, 2 1/2 fingerling potatoes, and 2 brussel sprouts. It said it came with butternut squash, and there were approximately 3 cubes of squash. My partner's dish of Chilean Sea Bass, which rang in at $40+, had one spear of broccolini along side the risotto. Both fish were cooked really well, and seasoned beautifully. Our appetizer of the cheesy crab garlic bread was delicious. We didn't want to complain in store seeing as we definitely ate all we had, but after spending over $120 and leaving hungry, I don't know how soon I'll be coming back. I think the sides could have been more substantial to balance the meal and give more value. As a diabetic, I have to gauge my food and carbohydrate intake, and expected at least a standard serving of vegetables and starch with my meal and was surprised and disappointed by the lack. Usually, I have to divide an entree in half to meet my carbohydrate restrictions, but this time, I had to supplement with additional food at home.

The food is always great. The service is always great, but this last time- it was phenomenal. We had the pleasure of having Cody as our server and it just made our evening that much better. So friendly and attentive and knowledgeable. Never had to ask for refills, she was just on top of it all. We even pulled her manager aside to tell her how incredible she was! We will be back!
This was a wedding anniversary celebration for our son and DIL. We are regulars and always enjoy the food, ambiance and service. Last night the only complaint was the redfish special was very dry and overcooked. We don't expect that in a $47 dish. The free dessert was a pleasant surprise.
First time at this location and it did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and attentive. She gave us the time to reconnect with friends while still being available. The manager came by mid meal to introduce themselves and check in on us. Varied items on the menu allowed everyone in our group to be satisfied.
Very disappointed. Actually terribly disappointed. If we go back it will be for happy hour only.
Wonderful service, great food. I'm surprised it was packed on a Wednesday before 5pm.
