5 pm reservation the hostess was there but didn't know if she could seat us the waitress was nice and came fairly quick with water then took our drink order drinks came out and they were not good wrong drink was served and then appetizers came ousters were delivered and definitely good then dinner order we were in a large booth we were a group of 6 and waitresses instead of serving food from both sides of the table reaching over us you need to have more training and more bus staff we had to stack our own plates and find the waitress to let her know about the drinks dinner for us was so so . We have been there many times this is my first negative experience staff needs training

This was our first time at the restaurant and the food was great. We had salmon and also a seafood/ fish mix which was very good. One plus was the server mentioned that one item was sold out and we appreciated knowing that right away when we got our menus. I have to say 5 star for service! Our server was extremely attentive and every one gave “service with a smile” which was very nice. The menu is diverse and not only seafood. The meat entrees were something we'd try next time. We will definitely be back.

Mostly positive. The shrimp in the scampi was tough and on the hard side. The sea bass didn't have much flavor and didn't get much risotto. Salmon and enchilada were good.

Great HAPPY HOUR menu. Apps were delicious and ample. Our server was very busy and under the circumstances gave us good service.

Never disappointed here! The food is outstanding and the service is as well. We love to sit at the bar either inside or out.

Husband ordered mussels and they had no flavor and the broth was bland. The toast that came with it was soggy. The wait person did bring another serving of bread which was fine. I had the appetizer crab cake and it was not good. More filler than crabmeat. Only ate a couple of bites. Had the calamari for an appetizer and it was good.

We ordered about 10 different appetizers to share amongst 3 adults and everything was amazing!!! The restaurant was clean & beautifully decorated. It was nice and quiet with a chill atmosphere. Will definitely be going back next week. We don't even want to try new foods, we just want to order exactly what we got this time, Ha!

Food and service were top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at High Tide Steel Yard. Wide array of menu items to meet your needs.

Celebrated our anniversary yesterday. We went around 5:15, so it was not busy when we arrived. Started with the cheese bread which was good, but not excellent. Our entrees were the Grilled Icelandic Salmon with glazed carrots and fingerling potatoes, plus the Enchiladas Del Mar (seafood enchiladas with rice and beans). We've each had these meals before and always loved them. However, this time they were not as good. The salmon was overcooked (dark crusty bottom). They volunteered to recook a new one, but we didn't have them do this. The enchiladas were drier than I remember. I should have asked for more of the sauce, but I didn't want to complain. I just ate what I could. For our anniversary they offered us a free ice cream sundae. We had that, but we also ordered their bread pudding with ice cream. The serving of bread pudding was fresh, warm, and huge! It was very good. For the most part, the service was good, but a little slow. The server was very friendly and attentive, so I have to think it was the kitchen that was slowing down the service. We enjoyed our evening, but disappointed in the entrees. Every other time we've been to the High Tide Steelyard, it has been fabulous, so we did have the same high expectations. We will go back again and give it another try. Maybe they have a new chef making their well-known dishes.

Opentable Diner

nice meal of shared appetizers off of the "Crabby Hour" menu. Love the ceviche and calamari. The toasted bread for the mussels were more on the burnt range vs a good grill. Ambience was pleasant and it was fairly busy for a Tuesday evening. Servers were attentive but not hovering which was appreciated.

Awesome dinner! I did order something that wasn't flavorful at all and they said no problem. We'll take it back. Would you like another one or something different. They made it right.

Arrived at 7 by which time the room noise was down and several tables open. Oysters were very fresh but poor shucking with shell material in each. Sushi roll was very good as was the gumbo. Two of us opted for fried fish which was disappointing. Small oysters in a thick batter and deep fried. These were pretty oily and mostly breading. I asked waiter if I could order them pan fried, he said not likely. Bread pudding was good.

Ordered the Lobster Bisque soup, the hamburger, and salads. The soup and salads were very good. The burger was very tasty but the bun was a quite a bit bigger than the burger and the burger was way undercooked. Overall though it was a very good meal.

Service was good. Took longer than usual to be server and staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Food was good. Overall I think you need to raise up the overall restaurant to warrant the prices you are charging.

Had a great meal at High Tide Steelyard last night. Enjoyed Crabby Hour and a casual meal. Server was very attentive and pleasant!
