Food is always good. Like most places portions are smaller due to shrinkflation. Oh...except the price.

We wanted to try a dish and it was Ciopino, it was take away, we waited almost half an hour. For one person, not even a small piece of complimentary bread accompanied it and when I tried it it was not ciopino, the super large pieces of onion, the broth was watery, that is It was anything but Ciopino and charging US 35.00 for something that is not what they advertise leaves a lot to be desired.

I went here for my birthday dinner and ended up with the worst most violent food poisoning I’ve ever had. I tried contacting the restaurant and haven’t heard back.
This place had a nice atmosphere and great service. The food was good but I guess I just had higher expectations. We ordered the crab dip for an appetizer and while it was good, I couldn't really taste the crab. It didn't even have the larger chucks that I'm used to in crab dip. My husband was happy with the fried fish but I thought the lobster mac and cheese was just okay. It had a nice cheese blend but not very much lobster. The lobster was chopped into smaller pieces so you couldn't really pick up the flavor as much.

I love High Tide Steelyard. The food is always delicious and service is top notch! My boyfriend and I had our first date in 2023 and Josh was our server. We’ve been dining here almost weekly ever since (I had dinner there 3x this past week). Josh is absolutely amazing!! He is funny, helpful, courteous, and communicative. Additionally, Josh makes our cocktails perfectly! What more could one as for?! If you are unable to sit in Josh’s section, you can’t go wrong asking for Davina, Danielle, or Lauren. They are also fantastic servers. I’m always super full when I leave, but tend to take a piece of key lime pie to go; it has just the right balance of sweet and tart. I don’t often sit at the bar, but when I do, both Lindsay and Abby are great.

First time trying, and we really wanted to like it. It's in our Neighborhood, nice place, decent vibes. The best thing we had was the crab cheesy bread and lobster bisque. Shrimp linguine was bland, yet too much lemon and noodles were way over cooked, 1 lb king crab legs were dry, like super dry and the green bean side wasn't cooked enough. You pay that much money for seafood it shouldn't be overcooked. Then we got a creme brulee, and it was like soup. It was sent back, and the remake was still not set right and warm, but we decided to just let it be. I typically don't send food back, but it was just horrible. Food took forever, and it seemed like our waitress was avoiding our table instead of communicating that the kitchen was backed up. She eventually told us but inly after we overheard it from another table. We really wanted to like it, but for the price we paid for a local neighborhood joint, it was not worth it. We have paid less at much nicer restaurants for the exact same meal. We might try again with sushi and appetizers, but I think these are things that could be adjusted.
