The host did not have record of our reservation when we arrived. We were seated relatively promptly but it was obvious the server was not expecting us. She was visually arguing and yelling at the host at the front desk. She was seen arguing with this host multiple times throughout our meal. We were only checked on 2-3 times and were told it was “chaotic” that evening. Barely got any refills and had to wait 30 mins for food.
We always enjoy dining in/at the bar, but since it was Friday night, we made a reservation in the restaurant a few days prior to our visit. As luck would have it, when we arrived, there was one high-top table in the bar, so we grabbed it. The bartender was terrific and attentive. Hubby and I split one of their entrees from the seasonal menu - WAGYU & ITALIAN SAUSAGE BOLOGNESE * american wagyu and spicy italian sausage simmered in a creamy tomato sauce with roasted red peppers...
It wasn't busy on a Saturday night. They were friendly and there were a lot of staff members. The goat cheese burger was very good, the kids meal was okay. Chicken Marsala was decent. The floors are uneven and easy to trip on in one section of the restaurant. The atmosphere is nice.
