I would have to say this is one of the top Shabu Shabu place in the East Valley. I loved the variety and especially the service. The only downside is they charge kids by height (either over or under) which I thought it was a bit silly. Just charge by ages, there are so many kids with different height. Don't need to nickel and dime families with kids.
My absolute favorite restaurant service can be VERY VERY VERY slow as servers don't really pay attention once you're sat and they bring your 1st order of meat and broth. You'll be lucky if they come back to let you know the broth is ready for you to start eating even. But if you've gone enough you get the hang of when its ready. It does not stop me from loving it. Highly suggest the Mala broth and Sukiaki for some spicy and sweet. Don't forget the furikake...
It was a very nice place to eat! We really enjoyed the food, and the experience of it all was incredible. It was my first time having hotpot and (who I assume was) the manager was very helpful explaining everything and giving recommendations. You do most likely have to flag someone down if you have any questions or need something, but it wasn't much of an issue because there were always staff walking around.
