I don’t know where to start. There were only two young people working. The place wasn’t busy at all although we could get any service, they did acknowledge us, but I wasn’t sure what they were doing and why they weren’t coming to the register to take our order.they weren’t rude just not sure why no one was taking our order. once we finally did order and got our orders. One was wrong. One of the young adults said it was right, didn’t want an to argue with what I had ordered, and I had my receipt. My dinner was OK, even though it wasn’t what I ordered. Ended up getting a dessert tasted old, had to order twice the right coffee, which was a cappuccino and the machine makes that. Disappointed.

My father and I do come to La Madeleine by Chandler Mall frequently. Most of the time things are great but there are times when it's not. Like at 9am there aren't any of their specialty pastries available. The complimentary breads and samples of jams are great but there are times that there aren't any jams put out. The staff are really nice people it's just somewhat inconsistent.

Went for dinner and it was..... ok. Really, I don't know that I have ever had an experience that was so.... right down the middle. The venue was clean, but kinda empty. I dunno if it was the piled up chairs preventing anyone from dining in the back, the signs blocking the restrooms, or the one melancholy staff member who helped us, but felt more like an inconvenience, than guests.

I'm still interested in coming for breakfast soon. Those pastries look too good to not make another attempt.

I have to change the review, due to not seeing the carrot cake in a long time, but there are plenty of other reasons to go there. Their hot cocoa is amazing (even moreso if you can get the Chantilly cream option during winter). Both breakfast and lunch options are out of this world, with fantastic pastries on top of it. Also, I can't leave there without getting at least one of their oatmeal, raisin, macadamia nut cookies!

We've been coming here for 7 years regularly. Our experience has been great except when Steve joined the store. Every time he is in the store, he is super rude, mocks me openly when I didnt do anything, and slams food on the table. I can go on and on. Unbelievable! If he doesnt get fired, the store will start to lose loyal customers.

The expresso machine was not working and I missing the French potato from the Country French Breakfast

The environment vas cozy and friendly. Service (Jennifer) was outstanding. The food was very good. The chicken Cesar salad was fresh, crunchy and had a ton of parmesan. The chicken Parisience was superb. And the Quiche Florentine was out of this world. Will definitely come again.

I was introduced to this restaurant from catering through my work and decided to try going to the restaurant instead. Still just as amazing, if not even better than the catering. The meal was delicious and authentic. Just amazing overall.

The Pesto Pasta is delicious. Served in a nice bowl that keeps the creamy pasta hot till the last bite! Well done chefs. Thank you!

I stopped by to see if they were open by they weren't. However I did meet the owner and he seems pretty cool. My wife loved this restaurant in Texas and is so excited to have one here now

Update : after 8 years this place is still serving great food and still clean and nice inside
