Normally, I love Los Fav's, but this was arguably my most disappointing experience with them I've had.
Asking for clarification on a menu item just got a stare from the lady working the register, and to keep from holding up the line I just picked something random. The pollo asado burrito I got wasn't bad, per se, but it was so mediocre I was shocked. Middling, mid, underwhelming, I could go on with the adjectives for how surprisingly bland it was. I guess...

I’m on a quest to find the best chimichanga on planet earth, and that quest led me here, to Los Favs. On the universal 13 point scale of chimichanga deliciousness, this one scored a respectable 11 points. Good presentation, decently crispy tortilla, good balance of guac and sour cream, and I appreciated the lettuce and pico de gallo on top. It’s one of the best chimis you can get from a budget Mexican food chain, but it isn’t the best on the planet, let alone Arizona.
