The food is excellent. Best greens and beans ever. The Hood Rolls are unique and cravable. The ‘fried chicUn’ has the best crispy crunch. The vegan ribs are great too.

THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH. 4 stars only because the food tasted so good! I had the french fries with the macaroni and cheese, both very yummy!!! It was frustrating for me that there was nothing posted publicly about not accepting cash as a form of payment. It always feels a little strange to me whenever a small local owned business makes that choice. From the time i pulled up to park outside, to when I left with my order, the experience was not very appetizing for me....
It’s just not the same since Nana passed away 😔 I finally came back after living in Texas and no one speaks to you. No one makes you feel welcomed anymore, no one comes to check on you like Nana did. Just order your food on a computer, sit & wait..Just wanted to feel her presence again by coming back and supporting what she believed in….you are absolutely missed Nana 💔
