We were charged $20 tip automatically for a party of 4. The food was good, but service average, not $20 tip. The hostess/server/busser lady wasn't very attentive, we had to flag her a couple of times for essentials. Because it's a family own restaurant, maybe they charge $5 extra per person for the food? Will not frequent as much as before.
The service was fine. One person looked like they didn’t want to be there, but they got the job done.
Atmosphere… there’s too much anime, coming from a fan. I love anime, but this screamed insecurity in their actual food so they feel the need to appeal to anime fans to bring people in.

This was my first time at this place and I was very impressed. The staff was very courteous and the chicken katsu was among the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back!
