SanTan Brewing - Downtown Chandler

My wife and I just left an hour ago. It seemed we were seated separately from the other patrons. The individual whom seated did not seem happy was not cordial towards us. I could tell my wife was uncomfortable. We left immediately, never ever returning.

Food was underwhelming. The root beer was terrible, tasted like liquid Wintergreen Lifesavers. Pizza, sandwiches, and other entrees we had were just ok. The one really good thing we had was the brussel sprouts appetizer, I wouldn't recommend anything else.

I was super disappointed coming here as I have heard so many great things about this place. I’m giving it 2 stars since the waitress service was good and the atmosphere was good. But the pizza was under cooked. We also ordered the chip trio app. The cheese was sooo watered down there was no flavor and the guac tasted like it was both old and store bought but also no flavor it was the weirdest thing. Maybe it was a bad day I’m not sure but I won’t be back. Parking is also terrible.

The short rib taco on Tuesday nights was mouth watering! Along with the beans and rice. The chicken and brisket taco were good but not as good as the short rib.

POV: 4:30PM Friday Night on 2/21/2025.
Ordered: Pepperoni Pizza 🍕, pretty good.
Shrimp tacos were 2 out of 10 Rice was mushy and tasted old, beans were inedible, shrimp was the size of a dime.
Chicken Quesadilla Appetizer 4 out 10.
BBQ tacos Brisket. 1 out 10! Absolutely horrible, super greasy, and smelled gross.
My family ordered a few other items as well. We were a 3 top and the seating arrangements were really bad. Tables so close together I couldn't pull my chair back.
I think 6 years ago this place was great! Now.....this is a place to skip! Don't waste youre money or time. Our bill was $110.00.
I wouldn't go back if you paid me too.

I went here for a friend's birthday and I really think that it was a perfect venue for that! The whole atmosphere had a really fun vibe to it! We all loved the really cool Lego Star Wars that they had. That and the other decor gave the place a lot of life.
The food was pretty good. I had a pesto sandwich and a pineapple drink which were both delicious! I also had a taco that I was not a fan of, however other people in my party liked it, so maybe it was just not for me. I will say that the price is kind of steep, nothing too outrageous but I just think it could've been a bit more reasonable.Also the place can get pretty loud. Overall, it is a very fun place that I enjoyed my time at, but I might not be a regular at. 8.5/10

We sat outside for an afternoon beer and bite. It's on a busy sidewalk so it was excellent for people watching.
We ordered beers and tacos. I loved the Mexican lager but felt it needed a bit more flavor. The tacos were delicious and came with rice and beans. It was a little expensive for the amount of food in my opinion, but it was really tasty and came out super fast (before our beer).
The staff and service was very friendly. We would for sure visit again!

If they put you at the table next to the patio door, immediately request a different table. You get bad food, bad service, ignored, and you eventually have to chase down your waitress to get your check because she walks right by you and ignores you.
Also, any brew with "pineapple" tastes like a hangover's after-vomit.

It was great that they were opened Christmas day, however, food was really lacking. It seemed like they were pushing people in and out as quickly as possible. Instead of making sure meals were edible.

Wow, what happened to this place. The food used to be so good.

Had the Hatch Chili Burger and it sucked. Zero flavor and extremely soggy. Would definitely not recommend.

Had the pretzel as an appetizer, it was good. Drenched in butter makes all pretzels great. However the beer cheese was so watered down and liquidity that it couldn't stay on the pretzel.

Very bad service. We have given 10% tip to the waiter and we would have given more if he would have asked her but the waiter was really rude and not acceptable at all. Very bad experience.

Worst behaviour
