This is a cozy place for a quick bite. The menu has many options to choose from. From chilaquiles to burger or breakfast specials, like, chicken fried steak. The atmosphere is clean and quiet, very relaxing. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The food is ok. I had the chilaquiles.. it comes with a mixture of mushrooms, pico de gallo, hash browns on a bed of tortilla chips with your choice of red or green salsa. Not spicy at all. Good portion to keep you full for hours.
We originally set out to go to the Hash Kitchen, but the way was 40 minutes. Too long. We went a couple of blocks further to the Crowned Egg. There was no wait for a table and the food and the service was great. I ordered the California Eggs Benedict. It was very tasty and just the right amount for breakfast.
Hubby had ham and eggs breakfast w/English muffins nd hashbrowns. I had California Benedict w/red potatoes. Everything was cooked perfect and delicious. Service was great also. Surprised this little gem wasn't bustling for brunch (noon). This is one place Id go out of my way for and wish I knew about sooner!!!
