The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Chandler

The Keg is a very consistent great restaurant for those looking for a nice dining experience without the pretentious atmosphere. Great food, excellent service.

The steak and lobster was marvelous. The wine was nicely chilled. We always get Ruffino Pino Grigio. Billy Miner Pie is the best dessert that I have ever eaten. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.

Switched servers after drinks and appetizers ordered. My husband a recovering alcoholic was served alcohol when we specifically ordered NA cocktail. After 2nd drink he said there is alcohol in this. The bill arrived at our table about the same time and I questioned server. We were charged $17 each so I ask why NA drink is this high. She says they had alcohol in both. After 6 month's sobriety this happens! We left extremely upset.

I made a reservation through Open Door, but when we got there, it didn't seem like it. The hostess was very casual about the reservation “ummm... ok sure. Just sit anywhere we'd like... “ I asked for the bar area, so I get it, but.... In the reservation I stated it was a celebration for a 70th bday. There was no mention of it until we brought it up. Our server had no idea so that note didn't get passed along. The server didn't know a lot about the drinks on the menu and had to keep running back and forth between the bartender and us to ask. It took awhile to get all our drinks. The food was great, done as requested. It was somewhat quiet in the bar area when we sat down, but a large group of men came in from some kind of event and got the place roaring to the point where it was difficult to hear the person across the table. For dessert there was only one option. Ice cream mocha ores thing. It wasn't that good. The bday girl didn't like Oreos so that was a bummer there wasn't anything else to choose. Overall, I'll eat there again, just not for a celebration of any kind.

Had not been to The Keg in quite awhile. The food was very good as I remembered it and ordered the prime rib with Caesar salad and baked potato. My spouse decided to go a different direction and ordered the crab cakes, which took quite awhile till they were served. One of the best crab cakes! Also she ordered the lobster roll sandwich which did not have much flavor and we asked for the fries to be served extra crispy, which they were not. Much better lobster roll sandwich in New England.

Tyler is a great server. The food was good as always.

The food was great as always. The drink selection was nice. The service in the bar area was terrible. None of the staff seemed to want be working. Not a friendly greeting and I even saw a couple sit down and leave after a few minutes of not being acknowledged. The bar definetly had a weird vibe and not at all welcoming.

My wife and I ordered the 18 oz prime rib and the 8 oz sirloin for my birthday. The food and the service was outstanding. We shared a caesar salad and we each had the twice baked potato which was perfect for our entree. The chocolate cake for dessert was just right. We also had enough for left-overs to take home. My only criticism was that we were not able to get the booth we asked for in our reservation and the temperature was a little warm but we intend to come back!

This is an excellent Restaurant to celebrate special occasions. It was my husbands birthday; and once again it did not disappoint! From the cocktails to the steak dinners; everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive! Awesome experience!

My food was very subpar. The lobster bisque lacked flavor. I ordered a medium steak and it came out half well done and the other half was rare, none of which I ordered. I told my waiter and he offered to make me a new one however stated it would be 15-20 mins. My partner already had his food that was going to be too long. Needless to say I will not be returning back to this restaurant. This is the third time we give this restaurant a try and end up disappointed.

Had an excellent dinner! Wonderful atmosphere. We used to go about once a week to the Keg when we lived in Wa., until they closed all but one. It was an hour plus drive, so we didn't go much after that. But now we're in Maricopa and the Chandler Keg is fairly close so we're happy.
