We lunched at the Tryst Cafe at Desert Ridge. Our server, Rachael, was very attentive and friendly. Her first question was if we had any food allergies or food preferences. Then when we gave our orders for the seared ahi salad, she reiterated my preferences and gluten sensitivity. The salad itself was beautifully presented and tossed in a light vinaigrette dressing with spicey Daikon radish sprouts. Great place! Our second time at the Phoenix Cafe. Food was great. We had breakfast this time and was not disappointed. I had the Spanish omelette with potatoes and it was very delicious. My wife had the Pecan crusted French toast with a side of eggs and bacon. She was so happy. I ended up eating the last half of her French toast and man I was blown away. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service here. I came alone with my young daughter, and every staff member was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. I never felt stressed or uncomfortable during the visit, which honestly makes a huge difference when dining alone with a child.
