Someone named Pascal to ight at 6:12 stated the brown water without a filter is safe to drink. How in the world does someone give that type of information to people. No less her own Diné& another excuse was thats how the water is in Chinle. Omg! A lot of places where kids run them and tourists don't complain about cleanliness need to be shut down, how can people lie, be cruel and just make others feel awful like that. Anyone has issues in Chinle anywhere, I suggest to write a review, call the BBB, go there at the NNPVPO and contact the FTC.

This is a super clean, comfy Holiday Inn experience. Loved the grounds - sliding glass doors to small patios, a pool and nice trees. It felt homey and grounded. Close to the canyon.

Quiet hotel right next to Canyon de Chelley, which made it a very convenient location. The property was quiet and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I wanted to be able to plug in my EV and the staff was polite enough to point out am available outlet and then power on for it.

While the hotel is a bit dated, it was generally comfortable and clean. The grounds had some unique character, adding to the experience. Overall, a decent place to stay if you're looking for something simple and close to the canyon.

Being one out of two hotels in this town, this hotel can get away with everything. We chose this Holiday Inn because of the pool. Little did we know that at the time we arrived -5 pm- the pool closed for maintenance. Having a room at the pool, we didn’t see nothing happening. The password for the wifi was provided, but no wifi Signal was there. After questioning at the receptionist, we were given two telephone Numbers we could call with the phone in our room, to get in contact with Wifi customer service!!🙄
The restaurant food was fairly oké. But I will never go back here

The room was spotless and the staff was courteous. The beds were comfortable. We had a good stay and would return again.

Like a lot of places this ones seen its day and undergrown probably more than one remodel. The rooms are clean, the bed is nice and the towels fresh. A little less than a resort feeling however there's a pool and a restaurant. Staff is polite and prompt. Nothing over the top to rave about here but you won't go wrong. Location is good for CdC but aside from the Mexican restaurant in house nothing is within walking distance.

Our experience at this hotel was awful. The water has a light yellow-green color to it, the wi-Fi in our room did not work nor did the phone. We told the front desk about our issues and they told us someone would be up to address the problems but no one ever showed up despite us checking back several times. The front desk lady lacked any customer skill whatsoever as did the hostess at the restaurant. Holiday Inn should be embarrassed about this type of representation. We will NEVER be back.

Beautiful area. Clean and quiet.

Needed somewhere to stay on our travels to 4 corners and this was close enough without having to backtrack the next day from Colorado. Worked great for our needs. We ate at the restaurant there and tried the local fry bread burger. Interesting combination worth trying

I loved the location—very close to the park entrance. The bed was comfortable, and it was a nice touch to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room.
However, as a Platinum member, I fully expected to receive a breakfast voucher and was disappointed that none was offered.
More concerning was the water—it was brown, undrinkable, and honestly alarming. I didn’t even feel comfortable showering in it due to the unknown contamination.
Finally, being asked to fill out paperwork at check-in was unnecessary and frustrating. All of my information is already on file through the IHG website, and this step felt redundant and outdated.

It's a great place if you plan on seeing the Canyon de Chelly, or if you are visiting Chinle.
The room was fine, and there was plenty of parking. I had some weird issue with the water but that is probably fluke.

Good hotel

The only very minor issue is that the check-in desk took a few minutes to find: it's actually located inside a restaurant. When you open the door to the restaurant, you don't see a Holiday Inn sign or anything. But otherwise - I'm fine with the hotel. It's basically right up the street from Canyon de Chelly, if you're visiting that site.
