Ask for a Navajo taco. Bring an appetite. The food is served cafeteria style with the old plastic trays and choosing the food you want as you slide the trays towards the cash register. The dining room walls have Navajos art that I spent a hour looking at.
Typical buffet cafeteria food that you’ll find at a National Park. Very convenient location if you stay at the Thunderbird Lodge.
Ate good sausages. I like my corned beef hash more cooked. My husband ordered the blue corn pancakes.

Got in around 3pm, was quite busy and ordered 3 Navajo burgers. The wait was a bit longer than expected but oh boy! The food was amazing! The frybread was fluffy and the tortilla was delicious. Food healed my soul!!!
