“I don't drink beer ( wait, keep reading! ) but the place was so inviting we came in. They have sodas (Arizona ice tea and Coke products) and water if you don't want alcohol. My partner enjoyed a few beers (Love is Brewing IPA and Main Street Blonde, a Blonde Ale). He was happy with them. He likes Sierra Nevada on tap, if that helps decide if you have similar taste buds. Again, I don't partake in beer but their selection is good and service is outstanding. We had food from the food truck outside called Sidewalk Grill: the double burger and fries was delicious. They had live music on our visit. The place is dog friendly. One last thing I remembered ... they have crowlers, growlers in a can? to go.”
“The hotdogs are amazing, but so is everything else I tried! Very happy we stumbled upon the place and found out that it was more than just hotdogs. The tacos and asada fries were delicious and we had the same server both times we went in, she was friendly and attentive.”
“One of the finest & friendliest bars in the Verde valley. Live music multiple days every week with a dance floor. You can order food from next door & eat it right at your table, or the bar. Excellent bartenders & a laid back atmosphere. Part friendly smoking area in back with sunshade, tables & chairs with heaters turned on in the colder months.”
“Went there specifically for ice cream. What a gem! Kiddie waffle cone is plenty big. Creamy and amaretto cherry was the best. Loaded with cherries. Very reasonable, clean and friendly staff.”
“We came for the train ride at 1 PM. I ordered the red caboose chicken sandwich, and she ordered the roundhouse salad. She liked her salad. I thought the chicken could be seasoned more, but overall I liked the brioche bun and the texture. We both enjoyed the fries. Overall we would recommend coming here to get lunch for the train ride!”
“The wines here are a little hit or miss for me, but they have a malvasia bianca that is kicking, so I can't help but give it a little love. The service was really great, and I loved how it was quiet and chill when we stopped in. They have an amazing view from a comfortable seating area. There are even a few board and card games you can play while hanging out. There was an adult version of Trivial Pursuit was a lot of laughs. It is located in the back of a record store that is excellent for people watching, and I kind of feel bad for the staff having to deal with crazy fans, but it is what it is. I liked that the pretension level was dialed way back from Caduceus next door.”
“I stopped by while traveling in Sedona. There was less to see in the village than I thought, butThe view from the village was niceThis restaurant is a gem in jerome. It was delicious, friendly, and had a nice atmosphere.Maybe that's why it gradually filled up with people. However, I was a little disappointed that the coffee was only regular coffee and lattes were not served.”
“This place was absolutely packed but we were able to get seating right away. They have several heated patios and a counter option. This is a wood oven pizza joint with a BYO menu. The menu is not overwhelming and has a good selection of items. I had the Funghi, which was very good. The crust was very good and well baked. Would definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Okay for vegetarians who include dairy.”
“Service was top-notch, they are on top of it! I was in town and wanted to eat at a small business. The food was pretty good, but what shined the brightest was the ”
“Owners are invested in making this an excellent dining and atmosphere place. Family fun atmosphere! Left overs are the breakfast of champions!!! Transplant locals. I think we found the Cheers of the west!❤️”
“Such a cool place in a very cool town with so much history! The town itself is worth the drive. I had very high expectations for this burger, while it was good, it was not one of my favorites. If you like onions, you will enjoy this burger. The french fries were delicious. Tried the twice baked potato, 3/4 of us didn't like it (1 didn't try it). For dessert, we shared the carrot cake, which was to die for. 1 piece was plenty for 4. It was HUGE!We had fantastic service. The restaurant itself was very cute with indoor and outdoor seating.Parking: There was no parking anywhere nearby. It required a walk to get to the restaurant, which is unfortunate. I think they only had about 2 spaces designated for them.”
“We have traveled half the country in the last 8 months and This might be the first perfect restaurant we have come accross. The truffle dip, Fish daily special, The fried jalapeño burger and shrimp basket were all 10/10. Live music great service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND eating here. My 9 year old son said the shrimp was amazing. He asked me to add that.”
“This might have been our favorite stop in Jerome. Friendly service behind the bar, with some good local choices on draft. We enjoyed the music, the decor, the dog-friendly vibe, and the opportunity to bring our lunch in with us. Can't wait to return and have a few more beers!”
“We loved Juanita’s! The women cooking were so friendly, and so were the customers. I felt like I was eating in a relatives home highly recommend food fantastic. Service was great and if I lived nearby, I would eat here all the time.Kid-friendliness: The cutest baby was making friends with all the customers.”
“This was quite a surprise find! We loved all of the smoked meats- hard to choose a favorite. I would recommend trying the sampler platter. Any leftovers are great in a breakfast burrito or as toppings on a homemade pizza. We’ll happily come again when we are in the area on future travels. Keep up making the exceptional menu.”
“Excellent little cafe with fresh sandwiches and desserts. Get there early for brunch because the dessert selection gets eaten down pretty fast. Great spot for coffee and croissants in the morning. Seating is a little tight and few outdoor tables but is worth dropping by.”
“Neighbors raved about this restaurant, so we finally tried and OMG!!!!! The absolute BEST true Mexican food. Tamales were freshly made and the burrito was fantastic!!! Adrianna is the sweetest lady and owner. So welcoming and her recommendations were spot on. We are permanent customers. Thank you Adrianna!!!!”
“The food was delicious. Their queso was very chunky and creamy. The booth was a little uncomfortable. Our waiter was very kind and made helpful suggestions based on what he really enjoyed eating. Would like to go back!”
“Food was delicious and they gave huge portions. The risotto was to die for and paired perfectly with the steak! The pasta carbonara with chicken was amazing as well! The drinks were good and strong. 100% recommend.”
“Oh gosh. Just moved to camp verde from the valley where we had a By the Bucket and thought I wouldn’t have one here. YAY Cottonwood discovery! I am obsessed with the garlic bread.”
“Best. Breakfast. In. Cottonwood. Only issue is their hours. We kept trying to go back more than twice and couldn't because they were closed. I'd dock them a star for that but the food was so freaking good, the people were so freaking nice... I couldn't do that to them. LOVED the space they're in, the grab-n-go fridge, the way they were super kind answering my questions about allergens... including gluten & nuts. OMG the food. The coffee. All. So. Good. Hubs got the buckwheat waffle (out of his comfort zone). I tasted it - couldn't eat much because I'm allergic to almonds & it's made with almond milk - and my word he raved about it for good reason! I had the açaí bowl, one of my weaknesses... haven't had one in months so that was definitely a treat. The berries were perfectly ripe and sweet... just amazing!”
“Roland and Ronnie are fun and friendly owners and have the best pizza and other menu items in town. Plus, I love that they are local owners!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options”
“Had breakfast here TWO times in my 3 day stay near Sedona. Amazing food! Very light and airy atmosphere. The croissant special is a favorite. Great place to escape the crowds and crazy prices too. Will be back on my next trip!”
“Great wines, lots of varieties, all consistent and good. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Watch your head in the bathroom. You have been warned. Always visit when in Jerome.”
“We do enjoy trying new restaurants. So I searched Cottonwood online and discovered we had been here once. The place is under new management or owner. The food was tasty and service very attentive. There was even music, all in old town Cottonwood. Sorry no ”
“Decided to try this place for something different. I really liked that this place had an entire vegetarian and vegan menu. Because I was there two hours before closing, they had dish restrictions but what I got was very good. I would like to come back and try other options but would also like to try out the desert section. I also really liked the guava cider they had on draft. Would like to try the blood orange someday.Vegetarian options: Also has vegan options.”
“Had an amazing time at Blazin M! It’s like going back to the Old West! Went to the Saloon and had a nice strong “Iced Tea”and the Prickly Pear Margarita. Then a buffet of Chicken, Ribs, Mac n Chs, Coleslaw & those delicious rolls w/plenty of butter served on Tin plates. The show was funny and the live musicians were great. I loved the way they took the time to announce the wedding anniversaries & birthdays of their guests! Great wholesome family fun! Lynn (VB)”
“I didn't expect this, but the salad I got (I forgot the name :/), was probably the best I've had in years. It comes with chicken, but I also added falafel and oh my goodness...the falafel was crispy, yet soft. It stole the show. The salad size was also generous so you get your money's worth. Service was also awesome! Give it a try when you're in Jerome!”
“Cool spot. About $40 per person with tip. Good food. They asked how wanted burger and then brought it out wrong (still pink). But refunded some of bill. Overall, not a spooky experience just historical with a great view.Parking: Very narrow road and lot.”
“Quaint is the best way to describe a caboose setting on the corner of a downtown intersection. I like to stop in every once in a while while I am out walking . Authentic French cuisine served. If you're in town, stop in have a coffee or pastry.”
