There’s no reason this place should be as slow as it was on a Saturday night. The food was absolutely amazing. I got a Torta and a Sonoran dog, both did not disappoint. My wife got Birria tacos and the bite I stole was fantastic. The whole menu is listed full of amazing options and we can not wait to go back. The staff is extremely friendly and there’s plenty of dining space.

Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from the chips and salsa to the Sonoran hotdog and and burritos and tacos. I didn’t have the tacos, but if the meat in the burrito is the same stuff they put in the tacos you will not be disappointed. The burrito was made to perfection with a crisp on the outside. That was perfect. The Sonoran hot dog had just the right amount of ingredients, not overwhelming. The bread was delicious. The hotdog was great with that bacon wrap, I 100% recommend this place 👍🏽👍🏽 quiet little town big flavors in this restaurant. Do not pass them up if you are here I almost did and I am not regretting stopping. very good pricing. I got the hotdog the burrito chips and salsa and a large Horchata for $24. That’s not happening anywhere these days so stop in and give them some love. Tell them GQ sent you.

I stopped by chance... And it ends up being a place of spectacular attention! I came just for the hot dog and ended up asking for churros. Don't miss the opportunity to eat here. I ate on the terrace

Absolutely a gem of a place. We all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the Sonoran Hot Dog, but I was able to nibble on someone else's quesadilla. Both were absolutely amazing. If you are in Clarkdale, it's a must visit. If you are only a few minutes away in Cottonwood, do yourself a favor and take the quick ride there.
Time from order taken to food at table was a little long (about 25-30 minutes) for five tacos and a hotdog. Hotdog was good, but the tacos were excellent with lots of ingredients. Although seeing as this place has “Hotdog” in its name *you would think they’d have more than two hotdog items on their menu.* I will definitely return as the food is reasonably priced and tastes really good. It’s just kinda quirky.
Bad cervices. I take my mother in low for mothers day and. The cervices. Is bad I hask for a modelo especial and take me for the barril beer. The food is trash. Sorry for the onwer s 🤢🤢🤮
As a seasoned restaurant reviewer with a passion for uncovering regional gems, I can say without hesitation that Hermosillo Hotdogs in Clarkdale is a culinary treasure that punches well above its weight.
This unassuming restaurant delivers a masterclass in Sonoran street food. The signature Hermosillo dog—wrapped in smoky bacon, nestled in a pillowy bolillo-style bun, and layered with pinto beans, grilled onions, jalapeño sauce, mustard, and mayo—is both an homage to tradition and a revelation of flavor. Every bite is a perfect blend of savory, spicy, and creamy textures, with a touch of char that speaks to careful preparation and pride in their craft.
The menu may be focused, but that’s the beauty of it: what they do, they do to perfection. Service is quick, friendly, and warm—true to the spirit of a small-town Arizona eatery with deep Mexican roots.
Whether you’re a local or a traveler passing through the Verde Valley, Hermosillo Hotdogs is more than worth the detour. This is street food at its most soulful and satisfying.
Don’t skip the grilled peppers on the side—and bring cash. You’ll want to tip generously.
Great food. Great prices. A quesa barilla taco and a ceviche tostada is my go-to order.
