Fish quality was insanely good. The puscifer pops were so fresh and delicious, the chef prepared them wrapped in daikon and it was such an amazing crunch with the fresh fish inside. The atmosphere is definitely casual and it got very loud, I would ask to sit away from the bar next time. Service was really good. I didn't find the prices to be high, they were very fair for the exceptional quality of the meal. I would skip the wagyu gyoza, not really anything to write home about...
This town needed a sushi spot. I was very excited when I heard about it opening and it did not disappoint. The sushi is excellent and creative with impressive presentation. The atmosphere is cool and you can tell the staff is genuinely excited to be part of it. The rolls are so unique with herbs and vegetables from the local garden, it really added an unexpected crunch and flavor. There’s nothing else like it.
We also had several nigiri that were incredibly fresh.
The sushi roll / sous chef was on fire! 🔥 incredible! And so was one of our rolls… literally haha
