If you want inexpensive and authentic Mexican food, I highly suggest this place. I hands down believe this is the best taco I’ve ever had. Full of flavor!!
We live in Chicago, one of the cities with the biggest Mexican populations in the US and therefore lots of good Mexican restaurants. Also, my in-laws make amazing homemade Mexican food. So given my exposure to great Mexican food, Las Salsitas is a hidden gem of Cottonwood! Honestly I wasn’t totally sold on eating here at first. STOP and eat here if you want the real deal! Authentic Mexican food just like I remembered from 40 years ago in Mexico! Better yet, hand made corn tortillas… deliciosas! The nopales are fresh, not jarred. Highly recommend the rajas con crema (poblanos, corn and cream). You won’t want to miss their salsas either. Yum!
