Mai Thai was my favorite restaurant when I lived in Cottonwood. The chicken fried rice is always a comfort food I crave, and definitely order anytime I’m back in Cottonwood.
I love Mai Thai on Main. Love the service, always friendly and welcoming. They’re always a great comfort to dine in with or take out. I have favorites from their appetizers to desserts. WOW on the spice levels. I’m definitely a spice lover but I’m a Thai level 1 person.
Ordered the Thai green curry with beef to go. The color of it was like an off white, not the typical light green that I see. I eat it, and all I taste is coconut milk. It wasn’t spicy at all. There was also hardly any beef. My only other comparison is the Thai green curry from the frozen meal section in Trader Joe’s, and that actually tastes better than this. I really wanted to like it because the restaurant has such a good rating, but I was disappointed.
