We ordered three peanut powers. There was only one other lady that was there — turns out she was waiting on one drink herself that was taking a hot minute to make. We honestly thought she was just relaxing there. Nope. Our drinks took 20 minutes to make. 3 employees, yet 20 minutes for all three drinks. Don’t get me wrong, the peanut power is delicious, but the wait time?? Make that make sense.

A great foray into healthy tasty food! The waffle is a wonderful surprise I didn’t want to add syrup so I could enjoy the subtle flavors! Their almond milk is made fresh in house. Don’t miss the cookie! The staff are nice so is the owner.

The food is excellent. My friend ordered the waffles and it was delicious, did not need the syrup. I ordered the frittata and salad (the salad is fresh and does not need dressing, but I did use my dressing it was vinaigrette). All the coffee that I tasted was perfect.

Broke fast with a friend for lunch and had a ginger lemonade in a glass, Greek wrap and apple cinnamon swirl~ I recommend support of the Wholesome Cafe. Love pours out from the owners in a beautifully magnificent manner

The food at the Wholesome Cafe was delicious as well as the fresh juice. I had the black bean bowl and my partner had the Greek vegan wrap. Both were fresh and tasty and equally good. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-18

All around amazing!! Local of the verde valley for years and I love Wholesome cafe being in the area. My go to spot for sure 🙏🏼

Customer service and food are always amazing. Plus it’s super healthy food. So you can feel like you are investing in your health.

The soups are incredible and the lemon ginger tea is so fresh and vibrant- it’s seriously incredible a must try. I truly can’t say enough good things…
If you’re busy and need a quick meal — or even just a coffee and a baked good — this is the place. In Cottonwood, there honestly aren’t many coffee shops that prioritize high-quality ingredients, but this one absolutely does. You can taste the integrity in everything they serve.
Compared to fast food, which is the worst food for you and it’s not even satiating … you might pay just a little more — but what you’re getting in terms of quality is leaps and bounds better. Highly recommend.

This place has it all, my friend and I just happened to stop in ..not realizing it was vegan ,now I’ve not eaten Vegan before but I’m hooked now! We ordered Vegan tuna and it was amazing! Delicious! The staff very friendly, polite ❤️❤️ I definitely will be back.

I highly recommend starting your day at the wholesome cafe. The staff and food here is amazing. Their meals, soups, and smoothies are delicious and will have you ready for any day ahead. Be sure to save room for dessert, they make the best muffins and cookies around town!

So enjoyed a “tuna” wrap and peanut butter smoothie here. The atmosphere is chill and a nice place to do some work on a laptop. The staff was friendly and so looking forward to going back. Truly a GEM in the town.

Wanted mediterranean or Greek salad.. so glad this restaurant is close! Fresh, healthy, the best!!! Ty, Tatiana for just BEING THERE! Lol
