The Mill is a one of kind experience. You can tell the owners take great pride and attention to detail in not only the artifacts in the mill but their weekly menu and preparation. We make it point to ride up there 3-4 times a year with The Mill being our primary destination in Crown King. The menu entrees and homemade side items are carefully chosen and typically different every week.
We had an amazing experience at The Mill in Crown King! The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the Reuben, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had—the pastrami was incredible and some of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. For a small-town restaurant, the quality was truly impressive.

Great service, food, and scenery. The outside looks very cool with a giant engine in the front. When you walk to the front door, there are a couple of old items and a few old engines in the parking lot. The lady we met at the desk was helpful and very nice. The food was great; I got the Baja Tacos. While we were sitting down, there was a nice view with hummingbirds flying around. 10/10, would recommend.
