Stopped in after a hike in the area. Wanted to find a great little dive bar, and Billy Jack's fit the bill perfectly! We were immediately greeted by the bartender when walking in, and were served ice-cold beers. After hiking for four hours, we were starved, and the cheeseburgers didn't disappoint. This is your typical neighborhood red neck saloon with motorcycles out front, pool tables and a jukebox inside and friendly bar tenders to serve you. I go there to watch people as much for the atmosphere and the drinks. They serve typical bar munchies that are pretty good, but go there on Friday nights for their $25 steak dinner. Best deal around and a lot of food for a little money. You have to call ahead if you want the steak special, as they only make them to order and run...
