We stopped here 2 times, 3 years (almost to the date) apart and this is hands down the best! I've been dreaming of those onion tangles since 2022, and the DID NOT disappoint. Great service, great food, clean restrooms, and sturdy napkins. Might have toake this a yearly tradition, instead of tri-annual.

Update, I gave them a retry the owner of store made it right. The brisket and the brisket sandwich was nice and juicy, not dry this time. The corn bread was really good. Beans were ok. I definitely would come back again. They are very friendly people. Thank you the Owner.

Had lunch for the first time at Nellie's. Great food and nice, friendly people. It's hard to find a place with good BBQ and good sides - this place had both! Try the turkey, jalapeño cheddar sausage and brisket. For sides, get the smoked beans... no, try the creamed corn... wait, get the mac & cheese. Ok, just get them all. And don't forget cornbread!!!

Howdy Y’all, we’r 2 ladies from TX and came across Nellie’s. I’m here to tell you this is some Amazing brisket and sides. We felt like we were back home. Meat is tender, juicy and has lots of flavor. Service was top notch and atmosphere was relaxing. A must try! And Don’t forget the Peach Cobbler.

When you roll up to Nellie’s, you smell the sweetness of their smoker! They are far beyond any other BBQ in the area for that reason AND for the quality of the food and quality of the people in this family who create and serve it up. My favorite is the brisket and green chili burrito, but I’ve also had the brisket sandwich, ribs and pulled pork. I’ve also tried (what is the owner’s mom’s recipe of) potato salad and (what is the owner’s Aunt Gracie’s recipe of) Cole slaw complete with apple bits-just over the top. I also recommend the Mac and cheese. Look out Colt, there’s a better BBQ in town (cue the harmonica and tumbleweed rolling by).

It's simply the best place to go to eat in the Prescott Valley. It's similar to going to Grandma's house for dinner. It brings back memories of family meals and family recipes that are still considered to be family secrets. I highly recommend the smoked turkey breast.
