I have not been a regular customer for around 2 years since my last visit. Still, today, while traveling, we stopped to get iced coffee and chicken nuggets. It was super busy, even some customers were getting frustrated, we were ok since it was Sunday, no rush, my respect goes to a young guy I didn't get his name, but he was taking care of everything and everyone, he had a very sweet attitude. Rare to see that nowadays.
I looked at the menu on line and it had a daily double $5 meal (for a limited time only). Went to the drive up and ordered it and the price was raised to $7. To me, this is a con job.
McDonald's is an okay, decent place for a quick and predictable meal. It's affordable, fast, and you always know what you're going to get—especially the dependable fries. While it's not gourmet, it reliably satisfies a fast-food craving.
