“We got food from this place today. It was the first time I have had it and it was absolutely amazing. It did not taste like restaurant food. It tasted like your Mexican friend invited you over to their grandmother's house for a nice Sunday dinner. I had pot roast cooked with green chilies, tomatoes, potatoes and onions. The drippings were at the same time reminiscent of the pot roast we ate in the south yet totally different with a mild spicy heat and a depth of character not found in a roast I would have ate growing up in an Anglo home. The beans and rice were amazing. I also had a tortilla soup that was one of the best I have ever had. I look forward to eating this again.“

“This fine establishment brings me back to my childhood, amazing burritos, the cheeseburgers are extremely deliciously cooked with charcoal!!! I would eat here 7 days a week twice a day, the salsa is mentally stimulating, I mean so good with their french fries and get the special sauce!!! “Anyone who doesn't like the food in this restaurant has no appreciation for good Mexican food. Everything is always excellent especially their taco salad with chicken which ranks best of any I have had in all the Mexican restaurants I have visited throughout the country. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated in a very old, historic building. The city of Douglas is fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant for the locals and visitors and I hope it will continue to thrive.“

“In my opinion, the food was really good. The place was a bit crowded, so it took a little while to get my order, but I have to say I really appreciate the great service we received from the cashier. Despite how busy it was, she treated us politely and kindly and was very attentive. She took the time to explain each item on the menu to make sure we were happy with our choice. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was my first time visiting a restaurant in Douglas, and it left me with a very good impression. I hope to come back soon 😁“

“Didn't pay much attention to the atmosphere. Was waiting to get loaded down the street, and the lady there recommended this place. All in all, the food was good, epic portions of meat on tacos and burritos, homemade tortillas. Salsa though, had an overly tomatoey taste, but was still good. Will definitely be back“

“This place is a hidden gem! The hot dogs are some of the best I've had. The buns are delicious and fluffy. The chips are great! The portions are large, especially the fries. The ceviche is always amazing! The staff is phenomenal!

“My dad and I went in to eat today. I’d never been there before and decided to try the Chile verde. I’ve had Chile verde all over the country and I’ve never tasted such amazing food. The kind woman working inside is incredibly amazing. She even let me try the Chile verde before ordering it. The service was phenomenal. I would highly recommend. Filiberto’s is by far my favorite restaurant now.“

“I was the only patron, early Saturday evening, which seemed fine by the staff, as the place closes at 7. I ordered Sonoran enchiladas, which are lightly fried maza harina, mixed with onions and cheese, then topped with red enchilada sauce and more grated queso blanco. The two young men on staff were surprised that a gringo would know this, and very appreciative. The chef-owner came out of the kitchen and thanked me for being there. Oh, yes, the meal was very well made.“
