I haven't been to a Sonic in many years as I don't really care for the drive in experience. I stopped for lunch and did the drive thru. The fries were excellent and the chicken was good.
We had been working all day and at 11:30 realized we hadn't eaten dinner.. we only have 2 options and it's late and both places close in 10 minutes, so my son said go to McDonald's, so I go there and as soon as we pull up the lights on the drive thru menu go off!!!.. 10 MINUTES before actual closing time.. so we said heck with it we will have to go to Circle k. On the way I pulled in to Sonic.. it was 11:54, pushed the button.. .. surprise,. -u answered. you open...AND...
I ordered the number 9, which is a chicken sandwich, and I had tater tots with it. The tots were perfect, not too much salt, and nice and crispy. My sandwich was fresh. I loved pickles and lettuce. I definitely will be stopping again. Thank you for a great experience. My server was so friendly and happy.
