I really enjoy their food. I usually get chicken katsu which is my favorite! Sitting down inside is good, but not as enjoyable as getting food togo and walking around downtown! Definitely worth eating there. A Flagstaff staple.

This place is very lowkey with cafeteria style seating. You can either dine in or do takeout, but you pay for your meal in advance. Asked the locals, and they all suggested this place to visit. It's a busy spot when we went around dinner time on a Tuesday night. We ordered the grilled island fish (the healthier meal section), which comes with a side of salad and brown rice. Also, got the BBQ chicken that tasted like something you would get at Panda Express. It was really sweet, it comes with rice and macaroni salad (this was really good). An order of malasadas and 2 pieces of Musubis. Overall, the food met expectations, but it didn't exceed it. The food was fresh, and you can see them cooking everything in front of you.

So decided to edit my review. The ribs were tasty and so was the chicken. The macaroni salad was good.

You can enjoy a Hawaiian plate lunch.The macaroni salad and bone-in ribs taste exactly like that! It's sad that the bento is so expensive in Japanese yen, but I'm satisfied.
This place was a great find, tucked neatly in the downtown area (try for one of a few hidden spots right behind the dumpster door if you can!)The food was delicious. There were so many things we hadn’t ever tried, we made sure to come back, two more times!!Parking: Flagstaffs parking can be confusing. During the week you have to pay during the daytime hours, but not at night.

The chicken Katsu was such a pathetically thin piece of chicken that more than 75% of the pieces were pretty much all breading and no chicken. It shouldn't have been served if that was a one-off incident, but if that is the norm then shame on them. The salmon was also quite thin so thus it was dry, and also happened to be overly fishy. The soup broth tasted like burnt sesame oil or something weird

Our favorite place to stop when in Flagstaff. Quick, inexpensive Hawaiin-style food, open late. A huge variety of options on the menu - something for everyone. Don't go for the ambiance, but if you need a quick bite while in downtown Flagstaff go to this hidden little gem. A bit tough to to find, down an alley and behind some other stuff, but worth the hunt!

A good choice to have a quick Asian style meal, with variety of choice of fried rice, soup or fried noodle, BBQ combo, fried shrimp. Surprisingly, they also serve some Japanese style and Hawaii dish. It’s a serve yourself place, so no tip needed, just clean the table after finishing.
