“I wish I had a sky full of stars to give for Josephine's review. They are surely deserving. 5 stars to represent the 5 senses will have to do. Visually it is absolutely beautiful. A lovely, rustic old home converted to a cozy intimate restaurant. The wafting smells of the food being prepared drew us as we wandered in. The warm, friendly greeting and attentive staff made us feel at home. The gentle bustle and buzz of the restaurant offset by a phenomenal soundtrack of eclectic music. My wife and I commented song after song about how special the ambiance was. Now to the food, although simply referring it as food is an extreme injustice. The meal was literally a work of art. Not the bougie, overly small (see what I did there?), portions with a drizzle of color to distract you from the fact that you about to "feast" on two bites of food. The portions were just the right size, completely satisfying without being grossly over or under sized. The ingredients were all extremely fresh and top quality. This makes total sense... with chefs creating such wonderful fare, why would you not use the best? Simply put, every single thing about Josephine's is absolutely perfect in my opinion. We wanted a special night for my wife's birthday and Josephine's delivered in spades. It could not have been any more perfect. Thank you SO much! If you are EVER in Flagstaff, you HAVE to make sure and try (try isn't accurate... let's say experience) Josephine's. Life is too short NOT to experience Josephine's!”

“Food was great, happy hour offerings are solid and the ambiance and patio with an amazing view closed the deal. We were 8 people with 4 kids and we had an amazing time while the children played in the grass. If you are looking for a place with amazing food and a place to hang out with the family you need to come here. The cherry on top was the service! Briggs took care of us like he was hosting a dinner party, he was kind, attentive, professional and warm. If you live in Flag, or are just having a holiday weekend don’t miss this place !”

“I’m heartbroken but in good faith I couldn’t give a perfect score because of the waiting: First to be seated, and then a long wait for our food to come out (we arrived at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation, we were offered chairs to wait in the lounge.. now this could’ve been a great opportunity to offer us a drink menu as that was a 15-20 minute wait before being escorted to our booth). We were ready with drink and food orders quickly and didn’t receive food until 6:40. - I took a pic of my plate right away and have the time stamp, so getting food more than an hour after our reservation is unusually long and why I just couldn’t give Zenith a perfect five stars, and of the wait has been maybe 20 minutes less id have given it perfection, but, ugh, that’s one of the longest restaurant wait times in my life and I’ve done plenty of fine dining. Just too long.
However, the food and drinks were so top tier, incredible that I would STILL eat here again, I just wouldn’t come super hungry. They did bring a bread basket quickly (a sourdough that even my mother who usually dislikes sourdough thought was delicious) to hold us over but you know, we want our entrees! Now, I’m not exaggerating when I say my chicken piccata was not only perfect but that it was the BEST chicken breast I’ve had in my life…seriously. BEST! I opted for the side of linguine in a buttery garlic sauce with capers and I did not want that chicken to end. It takes skill to keep a seared chicken breast from drying out, but of goodness it was so darn GOOD! The seasonings were perfection.
I also had a dragon berry mojito.. actually I ordered TWO because it was so good and I’m not driving tonight. Staff was professional and friendly and the restaurant is so beautiful, I have never seen a similar design (imagine yourself in an aspen forest, but better because the temperature is comfortable and there are no bugs).
Hopefully they can dial in that wait time (if we started getting buzzed in the lounge it likely wouldn’t have been as big of a deal. But overall huge kudos to the chef, so so so delicious!”

“I loved it! The food was really good I had the Ravioli and my other companions said their food was also good. The bread sticks were cooked perfectly. The service was a little slow but we were there around the busier hour but in general olive garden is a great place to go with the family!”

“Would definitely come back! We got the normal French toast and the hickory skillet. The French toast was perfect. It’s everything French toast should be and nothing more. Thick sliced brioche, strong cinnamon flavor, and not too soggy on the inside. The hickory skillet was also amazing. Very meaty with tender beef AND thick bacon, pillowy eggs, crispy onions and potatoes. Perfectly balanced dish.”

“DON’T RECOMMEND!! I love Texas Roadhouse but I went to the one in Flagstaff and got seated in the first 10-15 mins but waited an hour for cold food. Also had to look for our waitresses when we wanted something. Very disappointing 😔”

My fish bites were the best I ever had (and living in Florida, I’ve had a lot)—juicy, flavorful, and plentiful. My husband’s rainbow trout meal special was generous and so yummy! Do yourself a favor and try the Tiki Grill.”

“well......when the guy tells you the Diablo taco is super spicy and asks twice if you're sure, maybe think twice 🤣 because he ain't joking, and the thing made my lip bleed lol (I'm not mad about it. I'm happy I actually found something legit spicy/hot/flavorful/face melting in Flagstaff) anyways....the Diablo fish taco is, in fact, insanely spicy. and it is divine. the asada taco is, also, a piece of perfection and swept me back home to the taco trucks I used to love so much in Portland (honestly haven't had actual, decent, down home Mexican food in the 20 years I've lived here. this was a pure delight!) the chili relleno: I ordered it ala cart. lemme tell you. I haven't had a relleno that has come anywhere close to the perfection of the very first one I had in barstow. this one is a masterpiece! not too cheesy. but cheesy enough. and white cheese!! thank God! whoever thinks yellow cheese belongs in a chili relleno needs to quit the restaurant business haha. and then.....the batter. slightly fluffy. the absolute perfect amount of crisp. and SO MUCH FLAVOR! I can't believe it took me so long to check this place out. I'll definitely be back. and 14/10 can't wait to have my face burned off again 🤣 this was a super awesome experience 😁”

Every ingredient belongs, every flavor in harmony and properly apportioned. It even arrived the minute my online order said it would. Quite impressive. I would say that I want them to make a real brick and mortar, but I’m afraid that might ruin what is going on here. All I can say is keep it up and go get a pizza at Parkdrive.”

“I saw this place when I was walking to a friend’s house and thought it looked cute (a licensed bakery out of a house). I try to support local businesses, so I checked out the website. You place your order, pay, and pick a time slot on Wednesday to pick it up. I just got my order (sourdough bread and molasses crinkle cookies). They are both wonderful, especially the bread. The other reviewers raved about it, and now I’m adding my rave. It’s chewy, dense, with a crispy crust-just as delicious as it sounds! I’m looking forward to trying the other kinds.”
