Woodlands is a restaurant that offers a variety of dining options, including special holiday meals. During Christmas dinner, the service and food are generally praised as excellent, with some reviews noting the limited menu but ample choices for each course. The staff are described as very accommodating and attentive, making large groups feel welcome and ensuring smooth changes to reservations. The food is often described as delicious and warm, with portions being generous, though some mention that the presentation can resemble buffet food. The Chocolate Mousse Cake is highlighted as particularly amazing. Guests who visit early find the atmosphere pleasant, and many enjoy the experience enough to return for breakfast the next day. Pretty expensive for the quality of food. What really made me mad was they charged me $10 for a tea bag and a black coffee. Service was amazing though, kind and attentive!

The appetizer was disappointing with "shrimp cocktail* being two shrimp on a small plate with a squirt of cocktail sauce. Next came bread rolls straight out of the bag, they weren't even heated for us. There were four of us dining but they only gave us three butter and wait staff was nowhere to be found. The mains were the star of the show we had the seafood, prime rib and turkey and all were delicious and well served. The champagne was very good as well.

We were visiting from out of town so chose Christmas dinner at the DoubleTree which was the only option besides Red Lobster. Appetizer was two shrimp squirted with cocktail sauce, which did not give a good first impression. But the salads were good, main course was warm and portions were generous (although it did look like buffet food).
