We have followed Chef Rochelle for years and we were extremely excited to see her opening here in Flagstaff. We have been back almost other weekend since. We always sit at the Chef's Table so we can observe the masterpieces being created. Atria is the best dining experience within 100 miles. If you haven't tried it, you are missing one of the finest dining experiences you will ever have.“
“I wish I had a sky full of stars to give for Josephine's review. They are surely deserving. 5 stars to represent the 5 senses will have to do. Visually it is absolutely beautiful. A lovely, rustic old home converted to a cozy intimate restaurant. The wafting smells of the food being prepared drew us as we wandered in. The warm, friendly greeting and attentive staff made us feel at home. The gentle bustle and buzz of the restaurant offset by a phenomenal soundtrack of eclectic music. My wife and I commented song after song about how special the ambiance was. Now to the food, although simply referring it as food is an extreme injustice. The meal was literally a work of art. Not the bougie, overly small (see what I did there?), portions with a drizzle of color to distract you from the fact that you about to "feast" on two bites of food. The portions were just the right size, completely satisfying without being grossly over or under sized. The ingredients were all extremely fresh and top quality. This makes total sense... with chefs creating such wonderful fare, why would you not use the best? Simply put, every single thing about Josephine's is absolutely perfect in my opinion. We wanted a special night for my wife's birthday and Josephine's delivered in spades. It could not have been any more perfect. Thank you SO much! “I'm guessing this place can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights, but we met our friends on a Sunday evening and were practically the only ones there- which was fine by me as we wanted to be able to talk and hear each other. We had already eaten dinner so didnt try the food but several items sounded good. Cool decor and some interesting drink options and the bartender was friendly and helpful. I recommend the Sour Patch.“
“We were staying in Flagstaff for two nights to hike the Grand Canyon and stumbled upon Shift on the first night. It was later in the evening and we didn't have a reservation. We got in and sat at the community table. We had no expectations of anything since we just stumbled in and we were just happy to grab a seat. First course came out, savory sorbet. Blown away. It was sooo good. We had about four other items, all delicious. The next night, after our hike, we went back. Only reservation was at 8:30, worth the wait. Everything is delicious. The cocktails are creative. The staff is kind, intelligent, and incredibly hospitable. Love this place and would make this a once-a-week spot if I lived in Flagstaff. “This place is awesome. My boyfriend and I went here for the first time the other night and it was great! The staff were very nice and friendly and the food tasted wonderful. I forget exactly what it was called, but I got this Chicken cheese chipotle burger and it was suuuper good. The shredded chicken used as the patty was so soft, moist and tender. The chipotle sauce was very mild in spice but still very flavorful, and the buns were soft and buttery. A little messy to eat, but that's just the nature of the type of thing I got and it didn't upset me at all. It was fun.The fries were particularly noteworthy. They were the perfect balance of soft and fluffy on the inside with a wonderfully light, crispy outside. “Tinderbox is so delicious! I love the food & my favorite dish was the mozzarella with beets & arugula!! It was tasty & so satisfying. The CHICKEN was delicious too. However, the dessert course took an unexpected turn. The chocolate cake, though promising, turned out to be disappointingly dry. It lacked the moisture and richness one would expect from a decadent chocolate cake. The bread pudding had a peculiar flaw – the eggs were scrambled, rendering the dessert unappetizing. Regrettably, both desserts were taken to-go, and we didn't have the opportunity to send them back, but were thrown out, uneaten. “Definitely one of the more posh travel centers I've been to! My husband and I are OTR truckers, and this place has to be my favorite. We had half the day to putter around and do laundry till our early start the next morning. The folks that work here are super nice, friendly, and talkative. And just as well, most of the people stopping in were really fun and friendly. The laundry room isn't very big, so you have to be patient and wait your turn. We ended up talking with a couple different people in and out of the laundry room, sharing travel stories and tips on places to go. It's a nice reprieve, as trucking can be a little isolating.The break room is also one of the nicer ones, with comfy couches and a large TV.It's a great place for truckers and travelers to meet on our way to our next destinations. Definitely a great place to relax. There is also a sitting room in the ladies restroom, which I've never seen before. Gotta love it!Hope this will be a stop for us again if we're down this way.“

“I usually eat at the colleges "7 Ate 9's" and I enjoy eating their reuben, sure it can get pretty sloppy while eating it, but it is dern sure amazing. Plus when I did at the store I got their fries and they were great, and had such an interesting shape (spiral) to them. I have tried their breakfast burritos, personally I am a fan of just the meats, egg, and cheese, but these guys sure do load them up with other ingredients. The staff is also awesome, when the college closed for the summer I ate at the store, and the guy that also worked at the college "7 Ate 9" recognized me, and gave me a sample of their desserts. I got a german chocolate cake, and "oh" it was great.“

Service was excellent, and the only reason this didn't get a 5 was the fresh cut potato wedges were soft and kinda oily, not crisp. My recommendation is to ask for the "fries" twice cooked.
