“Fell in love with fry bread tacos on a 2018 Arizona trip. Did a search for local restaurants and Corner Cafe popped up with a picture of a Navajo taco from their menu that called my name. We were a little confused about entering the Timberline Tavern instead of the Cafe but the patrons and bartender made us feel very welcome. The food and service were excellent! Back home now and already craving that delicious taco. If I were a local, this would be my favorite place for a great meal, a cold brew, and a good time.“

“Cute motif. Love that everything has a thrift store vibe. Would love to see something hung from the ceiling like strung tapestries or something to help acoustics. It's like a school cafeteria noise level from the 80s when trying to small talk, it's top volume to hear someone next to you.

Parking: Do not, I repeat do not park at the lot at the corner of Mike's Pike and Cottage. Not a safe lot due to management of the lot. Police department stated, "we get a lot of calls from that lot." Anywhere else you'll be fine.“

“Currently staying at this hotel. Such a beautiful hotel. Took a picture of their front desk lobby. Hotel rooms so spacious. We traveled Europe, Asia and US and it is my first time seing a bathroom with 2 sinks which really helps when 2 people getting ready. We have a beautiful view of the courtyard and a beautiful fine tress just outside of our balcony. Sophie, Seda and the front desk team were very professional and gave us a lot of insights and recommendations. Will share more pictures and videos of our stay on our Facebook and Youtube travel page. “I can’t believe they don’t do quinoa. It was the main reason I chose the dish. Must be an Arizona thing cause it’s very popular where I’m from. The barimundi was tasty as were the veggies but I would have preferred it with the quinoa as described.“

“I wish I had a sky full of stars to give for Josephine's review. They are surely deserving. 5 stars to represent the 5 senses will have to do. Visually it is absolutely beautiful. A lovely, rustic old home converted to a cozy intimate restaurant. The wafting smells of the food being prepared drew us as we wandered in. The warm, friendly greeting and attentive staff made us feel at home. The gentle bustle and buzz of the restaurant offset by a phenomenal soundtrack of eclectic music. My wife and I commented song after song about how special the ambiance was. Now to the food, although simply referring it as food is an extreme injustice. The meal was literally a work of art. Not the bougie, overly small (see what I did there?), portions with a drizzle of color to distract you from the fact that you about to "feast" on two bites of food. The portions were just the right size, completely satisfying without being grossly over or under sized. The ingredients were all extremely fresh and top quality. This makes total sense... with chefs creating such wonderful fare, why would you not use the best? Simply put, every single thing about Josephine's is absolutely perfect in my opinion. We wanted a special night for my wife's birthday and Josephine's delivered in spades. It could not have been any more perfect. Thank you SO much! If you are EVER in Flagstaff, you HAVE to make sure and try (try isn't accurate... let's say experience) Josephine's. Life is too short NOT to experience Josephine's!“

“Food was great, happy hour offerings are solid and the ambiance and patio with an amazing view closed the deal. We were 8 people with 4 kids and we had an amazing time while the children played in the grass. If you are looking for a place with amazing food and a place to hang out with the family you need to come here. The cherry on top was the service! Briggs took care of us like he was hosting a dinner party, he was kind, attentive, professional and warm. If you live in Flag, or are just having a holiday weekend don’t miss this place !“

Kid-friendliness: No problem bringing kids here. My two young daughters love it. Ages 12 and 7.

Parking: Even if you get here early on a weekend you're going to look at a hard time finding a spot to park near the lift. You got to get here really early to find that good parking spot. Maybe just go on weekdays and you'll have good luck every time.“
