We love The Place! We are Flag locals and have eaten here for years. Great food and great servers! We once came in after my husband had surgery and hadn't been able to eat for two days. He was starving and they had food on the table for him in less than a minute - just the sweetest!

Mike & Ronda's The Place West is a fantastic restaurant with a friendly old timey feel, perfect for a stop while traveling route 66. The decor is cozy and interesting, featuring a marvelous collection of yesteryear and every day items that are artfully arranged, including a room filled with crosses. The atmosphere is lovely, with the same awesome team work that just doesn't exist anywhere else—everyone fills coffee and checks on all the tables. The staff is on top of it, attentive, and friendly. The food is delicious; the biscuits are still very large and fluffy, and come with a bowl of gravy. The pork green chili was SO GOOD, a must try, and the county fried steak is also delicious. The chili was smashing and the food was on point. The dining area is great and welcoming, perfect for a fast in and out schedule or a slower pace. This wonderful place gets belly’s full of great delicious cooking.
