“The chocolate salted caramel cheesecake saved our meal and this review. We were able to be seated a little earlier than our reservation time and thank goodness because the service here is slow!!! My husband and I knew what we wanted ahead of time but still had to wait forever to place our orders. I had the French onion soup burger with fruit and my husband had the elk bolognese. My fruit had some weird white stuff all over it, I picked it off but it was kind of off putting. My burger was also ordered medium and came out well done but I didn't want to wait for another one to be made. My husbands brussel sprouts had inedible, hard, stems left on. We decided to get the cheesecake when we heard the flavor of it. Wow, was it delicious!!!! Definitely the best part of our meal. The water glass stayed filled and our waiter was kind, just very slow. The roof was also leaking near where we were sat, but the view from the window was spectacular. For the total price of our meals, I'd kind of expect more overall. Also, the website states to dress nicer, this does not hold true to lunch time. We dressed business casual and were overdressed compared to other patrons.“
“I'm a bit confused. My prime rib was ciooked to the order, large and tasty. At the same time my wife said that her tenderloin was worst since the one in Soviet Estonia. If it had been the promised weight and cut to start with, they had used significant magic to shrink and dry it.I don't know whether there are rules about light pollution up there, but the yard and parking lot were pitch dark.“
“This place consists mostly of a shop with local crafts and a basic cafeteria with ice cream. That being said, both items can be fun to view on a hot day. Oh, and it has a fantastic porch with rocking chairs overlooking the tower. Get some IC or Coke, pull up a chair and rock away your worries.“
“My family took me to this restaurant for my 60yth birthday dinner after hiking around the canyon all day. I got the 12 oz boneless ribeye steak with steak fries and a salad. Awesome food and service. The staff got me a slice of NY Cheesecake with cherry topping. Wow! It was all so delicious the service was amazing.Parking: Plenty of parking and the restaurant is easy to find.“
“With two kids who have to eat gluten-free, this place did not disappoint. It’s not easy to eat gluten free in Tusayan. I’m always impressed when they offer information. For instance, I asked if the country home fries were gluten-free. The nice woman said yes, but they are in the same fryer as mozzarella sticks, and other fried items that are not gluten-free. We had the club sandwich with gluten free bread, Southwest Cobb salad, omelette, and breakfast sandwich on gluten-free bread. We are all still doing just fine. The woman who took our order even told the kitchen just to verify that they knew. Very happy with this place.“
