“Phenomenal food. We had the fried chicken sandwich, mozzarella sticks, burger and fries. everything was delicious.

We also ordered the cauliflower soup which we weren’t fans of, I feel like the spices made it taste more like Indian food than cauliflower cheddar soup, but still doesn’t take away from the wonderful rest of the food & service.

“We’ve lived in Flagstaff for 10 years and have been going to Dark Sky for most of that time. We’ve always loved the bar; the atmosphere, events, and food have consistently been highlights, even with the higher price tag.

The waitresses have always been wonderful, kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the bar staff has become noticeably rude and unpolished in the last 5 visits, with a kind of semi gaslighting vibe that feels dismissive rather than welcoming.

Alongside that, there’s been a slow drift that’s disappointing. Cocktails are now premixed yet still run over $15 with tip, and food prices continue to climb. The new 3% credit card fee feels especially off-putting. As customers, it’s frustrating to see that cost pushed onto us rather than built into the business model.

We still enjoy Dark Sky, but these changes make us want to come less often, which genuinely makes us sad.“
