“The first day in Sedona my husband and I found this gem! We spoke with the owner and his friend for several minutes; both very friendly and helpful! It was some of the best coffee and flat white we have ever had! Then, the gluten free carrot cake was to die for! We have been back almost every day since on our week long vacation! We will make sure we get there one more time before we leave tomorrow! You must give it a try!”

“This place was an absolute day-maker. And Rick was our server (and apparently the chef’s son). He was fantastic. The food and drinks - next level. We were there for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Ceviche, shrimp tacos, breakfast burrito, and prickly pear margarita were all Fantastic. The hot sauce on the ceviche was the best I’ve ever had. Fantastic experience, service, food, and company. :)”

“We've been going to Shorebird whenever we are in Sedona since they opened. Their General Manager comes from a fine dining background, so he knows how to run a restaurant. We always start with a drink at the bar before moving to a table, but often we have such a great experience at the bar that we eat dinner there. The current bartender, Christina, was no exception - she made great drinks, was knowledgeable about the menu, and a good conversationalist. We started with the avocado fries and a Balboa roll, both of which were very good. For entrees, we had the Duroc pork chop, which was cooked just the way I like it, and the Cubano sandwich, which my wife says is one of the best she has ever had.”

“My friends and I traveled from New York to Sedona on vacation and wanted to try authentic Mexican food. Tamaliza Cafe was highly recommended. Leo greeted us warmly and we chose to sit inside a charming room with lovely, colorful Mexican decor that made us feel like we were in a friend''s home.in Mexico. yet we had a beautiful view of the Sedona red rocks from our window. We ordered chips & salsa that were freshly made & delicious. We ordered tamales and burritos that were the best we have ever tasted and we have tried many in NY. Everything was prepared fresh, and moderately priced for truly authentic Mexican dinning. By the stream of visitors you can tell its a popular restaurant but has enough outdoor seating and indoor seating to enjoy your delightful dishes and talk among friends in a relaxing atmosphere. We were so happy to try Tamaliza Cafe and highly recommend it. My friend that lives here will definitely be back. We take with us a warm memory. “Great Latin American restaurant with small dishes for starters served Tapas style then a choice of entrees. Must admit we only managed 3 of the starter style dishes between 2 of us. Service was excellent and really helpful if you did t understand some of the dishes. A really lovely evening.”
