“This place is so underrated. We went in at 8 o clock and they still provided full service to us! So many options for vegans it's like heaven. Everything was so tasty too. The ambiance is a little run down but the art work is nice to look at and is on sale too. I can't complain when it comes to the food though!“
“This place gets BUSY! We got there at 5 when it opened. The gluten-free options were not labeled, but everyone there knew what we could have. The BBQ fried rice is my favorite ever fried rice and one of the best things I have ever eaten. We ordered the orange chicken (not gluten free) for my picky eater kid and it was devoured!“
“Excellent service and excellent food. Loved our waiter. Tried the curry, rice dishes and a noodle dish. Everyone we were there with had great things to say. We plan to go back! Portion sizes were good for rice and noodles, but my curry was a little smaller. Still worth it though. No one we were with had leftovers but left satisfied.“
“Food was delicious. I ordered temp of 4/5 and was disappointed that it wasn't actually hot. I guess they assume people don't order correctly? Not sure but I expected a 4/5 to be hot, just not thai hot. That was my only complaint. Otherwise the food was amazing!Dietary restrictions: Required gluten free“
“I have been coming here regularly for the past 4 years. I had a meal plan and came here between 10 and 20 times per week for all three meals. While I admit, the food is not the greatest food you will ever have; I will say that most of the food is good, and there is enough variety to not make coming here a terrible chore. The Hot Spot, like any cafeteria/buffet possesses a few constants. In the morning, they usually serve the same assortment of stuff with slight varieties to the choices such as the occasional inclusion of bacon as a meat choice. During lunch and dinner, they always serve burgers and fries, pizza, Mongolian style Chinese food, among others. That being said, there is still enough variety to make people happy. First, they have a sandwich bar where students can have someone make their own custom sandwich, there is a vegetarian vendor that serves different items everyday, They even have theme weeks, where they cook up international dishes. Lastly, every afternoon they have a snack bar open where they serve different snacks including ice cream, puddings, and others. Overall, I think this place is pretty decent and I would temper your expectations for fine dining because this is not a 5 star place. However if you come here expecting an abundance of decent quality food at a good price, I think you might be pleased.“
“Tried this Thai restaurant in downtown Flagstaff and was not disappointed. Nice atmosphere and varied menu. Tried the shrimp pad thai and really like how they prepared the shrimp. The chicken satay was good and I liked how the pot stickers were first boiled and then fried. Service and cleanliness were spot on. This will become my go to thai restaurant in Flagstaff.“
