Awa Kava has a really mellow and friendly environment. The lobby is set up with couches for comfort and conversation. The drinks are amazing, the vibe is amazing and the owner Andrew is very outgoing.

We came in after a long day of walking around and we were greeted so warmly, and felt so comfortable right off the bat even tho it's a small place. When we ordered, Greg helped us out so much! I was so worried I'd hate the taste because it's a kind of intense flavor and not be able to finish it. But after hearing my worries Greg made me the ABSOLUTE BEST kratom drink! This is such a cool little coffee place. I really like that they close late for a nightly coffee break. I really like their coffee specialties and their great combinations. I like how during the week they have something going on. It gets crowded sometimes, and there could be times when there’s only one barista, so it can take some time to get your drinks. Patios outside are awesome when the weather is nice, but parking stinks with limited parking spots in the back.
